You either believe something
—or you don't.
You either believe something—or you don't.
You can want to believe it.
You can't even try really hard...
because you either believe it or you don't.
And that matters.
Because if you genuinely believe something is possible, you behave differently.
You notice different things.
You take chances you wouldn't otherwise take.
You persist longer.
You expect different outcomes.
Your entire relationship with what is possible changes.
But if you DON'T believe it?
That's where things get interesting.
Because nobody ever really teaches us...
HOW DO YOU CHANGE A BELIEF?
Especially when everything you currently know tells you the opposite.
YOU CAN'T JUST DECIDE TO BELIEVE
Try it.
Choose something you currently think is impossible and decide, right now, to believe it.
You can't.
You can pretend.
You can tell yourself a better story.
You can desperately want it to be true.
But belief seems to happen somewhere deeper than conscious decision.
Which creates a rather enormous problem.
Because almost every system of transformation eventually asks you to believe something you don't believe yet.
That you're capable.
That things can change.
That your body can change.
That you can make the money.
That you can create the life.
That consciousness may be capable of considerably more than you've been taught.
That magick might actually work.
But HOW?
How do you get from:
“I don't believe that.”
to:
“Actually...maybe I do.”
That's what BUILDING BELIEF is about.
WHAT IF BELIEF CAN BE BUILT?
We acquire beliefs all the time.
From experience.
From our families.
From authority.
From culture.
From things that happened to us.
From things that happened often enough that we stopped questioning what they meant.
Somewhere along the way, an idea becomes an expectation.
And eventually that expectation simply becomes:
“That's how reality works.”
But if beliefs can be built accidentally...
can we learn to build them deliberately?
THIS ISN'T POSITIVE THINKING
I'm not interested in teaching you to stand in front of a mirror telling yourself something your entire being knows you don't believe.
And I'm certainly not interested in teaching you to believe everything.
Quite the opposite.
I want to know how belief actually changes.
How do you loosen a belief that has governed your life for decades?
How do you approach something your culture tells you is impossible?
How do you give a new possibility enough room to actually test it?
And how do you distinguish between something you want to believe...
and something you have actually come to believe?
FROM THE LITTLE BELIEFS...
Maybe yours is:
“I'm terrible with money.”
“I'm too old to start again.”
“Nobody wants what I make.”
“I'm just not that kind of person.”
Tiny sentences.
Enormous consequences.
Because once something becomes a belief, we tend to stop investigating it.
We start living from it.

BUILDING BELIEF
You either believe something—or you don't.
You can want to believe it.
You can repeat it every morning.
You can write it on your mirror, visualize it, affirm it, pray about it and tell yourself you're absolutely certain.
But underneath all of that...
you either believe it or you don't.
And that matters.
Because if you genuinely believe something is possible, you behave differently.
You notice different things.

Tiny sentences.
Enormous consequences.
Because once something becomes a belief, we tend to stop investigating it.
We start living from it.
...TO THE REALLY BIG ONES
And then there are beliefs so large we barely recognize them as beliefs at all.
What is possible?
What is impossible?
What is consciousness capable of?
Can intention matter?
Can anomalous experiences tell us anything?
Could some of the things our ancestors called magick describe capacities or relationships with reality that our current paradigm doesn't recognize?
That's considerably harder.
Because now you're not merely challenging something you believe.
You may be challenging something almost everybody around you believes.
So how on earth do you cross THAT gap?
YOU DON'T HAVE TO START BY BELIEVING
This may be the most important part.
The first step from:
IMPOSSIBLE
isn't:
I BELIEVE.
It's:
MAYBE.
Maybe I don't know.
Maybe there is another explanation.
Maybe the conclusion I reached twenty years ago isn't the only possible conclusion.
Maybe the world is a little larger than I thought.
And once something moves from impossible to possible...
you can investigate it.
You can experiment.
You can look for evidence.
You can have experiences.
And something fascinating can begin to happen.
IMPOSSIBLE → POSSIBLE → PLAUSIBLE → EXPERIENCED → EXPECTED
A new belief is being built.
BUILDING BELIEF
In this new program we're going to explore one deceptively simple question:
How do you believe something you don't believe yet?
We'll look at how beliefs are formed, why some become almost impossible to dislodge, why simply repeating a new belief often doesn't work—and how you can begin deliberately building the beliefs necessary for the life, experiences and possibilities you actually want to explore.
Not by pretending.
Not by forcing yourself to believe.
By learning how belief is built.
Because there may be an enormous difference between wanting something to be possible...
and actually believing that it is.
And once you believe?
That's when the experiment really begins.
